Kia Ora, we're Hanmer Holiday Homes and we've been managing holiday homes since the late 1990's. Each year we welcome over 8,000 families, couples, or groups to our approximately 180 holiday homes in Hanmer Springs.

Flexible work hours in a stunning alpine setting? Sounds good! HHH manage around 180 holiday homes in Hanmer Springs. We can accommodate flexible hours, during school hours, day or night hours, you'll also work in beautiful homes (not offices!), and join a supportive, easy-going team.

About the role: You’ll help prepare our holiday homes to a high standard for arriving guests. This includes:

  • Cleaning and presenting homes
  • Bedmaking and linen delivery
  • Restocking supplies
  • Property checks and basic reporting
  • General housekeeping duties as needed

What we’re looking for:

  • NZ driver licence
  • Great attention to detail
  • Reliable and proactive attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

No extensive experience required - Just a great work ethic and willingness to learn.

Hanmer Maintenance Services (HMS), a division of Hanmer Holiday Homes, is looking for a full-time maintenance team member to join our positive, supportive crew here in beautiful Hanmer Springs. You’ll help deliver general maintenance services across our 170+ holiday homes, keeping them safe, tidy, and guest-ready.
We’re after a practical, positive person with good organisational skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the confidence to tackle a wide range of tasks.

 

General tasks include:
• Carrying out repairs and general maintenance
• Yard work: lawn mowing, chainsaw and chipping work, general property presentation
• Basic carpentry, fixture repairs, and odd jobs
• Accurate data entry using tablets
• Other duties as required
The successful applicant will have:
• A full driver’s license
• Practical maintenance or handyman skills
• Trade experience would be VERY advantageous - particularly in building, carpentry, electrical, plumbing or a similar trade
• Good physical fitness and a safety-conscious approach
• Reliability, initiative, and the ability to work unsupervised
• Clear communication skills and a friendly manner
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to live in, or near, Hanmer Springs

 

This is a full-time role, though some flexibility could be possible for a suitable candidate.
