Perfect Family Escape – Close to Pools, Trails & Town

This welcoming two-storey holiday home is a fantastic choice for families looking for space, comfort, and plenty to keep everyone entertained during their Hanmer Springs getaway.

The home comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests across two levels, with a double bed downstairs and a queen bed plus four single beds upstairs, making it a great option for two families or groups travelling together. Families with little ones are well catered for too, with a cot in one of the upstairs bedrooms, plus a portacot and high chair available for guest use.

Outside, the fully fenced, sloping backyard gives children and pets plenty of room to explore, while the tyre swing is sure to be a favourite with the kids. Adults can relax on the spacious deck and enjoy a classic Kiwi BBQ, with the gas bottle already provided for your stay.

For those wanting to get out and explore, there are also seven bikes available for guest use, including three adult bikes, three mid-sized children’s bikes and one smaller child’s bike, along with three helmets. A mountain buggy pram and scooters are also available, making this a great base for families wanting to enjoy the nearby walking and cycling trails through Hanmer’s beautiful Heritage Forest.

Inside, there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained with complimentary Wi-Fi, a radio, media player and Chromecast on the TV. During the cooler months, settle in beside the cosy log fire, while the heat pump provides year-round comfort with heating in winter and cooling during summer.

The location is another highlight, with scenic walking and biking trails close by, while the Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools, restaurants, cafés and village centre are only around a 5-minute walk away.

Pets are welcome, with a preference that they remain outside.

Please note: The driveway is very steep and is not suitable for vehicles. Guests are advised to park at the top of the driveway.

Guests are required to provide their own linen and towels as well as clean this home upon departure so that it is tidy for the next guest. We do offer an optional linen hire and cleaning service. The cost of this linen hire can be found here. The cost of this cleaning service would be $130.00.
